In Search of a Song: Searchlight Winners, Part 1

In the September 3, 2011, episode of In Search of a Song, Executive Producer Rich Reardin interviews some of the singer-songwriters that were monthly winners of our songwriting competition in the 2010/2011 season.  Up-and-coming artists submit their songs to us through Sonic Bids, and a monthly winner is highlighted on our special feature SEARCHLIGHT.  We are proud to highlight these great new artists and show off their songs.

Musical selections and interviews include: Laura Zucker – “You Should Have Seen Me Then”; Fontaine James – “Barely There”; Pan Morigan – “Peach”; Dean Batstone – “Lonely In America”; Gina Cimmelli – “Don’t Be Mad”; and Steve Grimes – “Perfect Stranger.”
